Mike Thorne is an independent Certified Financial Planning specialist. Mike is an educator and planner who uses proven, effective financial strategies to help his clients navigate the wide array of tax, business structure, investment, and insurance solutions. Mike has more than 25 years of small business management experience, and experience helping clients manage their investment and insurance assets, and over 30 years providing employee benefits consulting services to small and mid size businesses.

Mike was born in Vancouver and grew up on the North Shore. When not working with his clients, Mike may be found on a golf course, or sailing with friends, or simply taking a long walk on the West Van seawall with his wife, Donna. They are also very proud Grandparents of 5 (so far) adorable Grandchildren.

Mike also has a long history of community service. He is currently Secretary of the Board of Directors of the Hollyburn Family Services Society.
